with setbacks and disappointments. 'Call Reluctance'
is closely related to the PCI Self-Confidence score.
A Self-Confidence score of 6 is slightly above average

sometimes need to make an effort to deal with the
rejection experienced when calling on potential buyers.

Ascendancy is a measure of competitiveness and
goal-orientation. Ascendancy carries with it a
degree of aggressiveness and a willingness perhaps to
achieve sometimes at the expense of others. An
Ascendancy score of 5 is average. This applicant
can probably be assertive when necessary but might
not be considered an aggressive "closer."

The Involving scale measures the degree to which an
individual enjoys being involved with social
activities. The Involving scale is associated with
social energy, social activity, and a willingness
to interact with a wide variety of other people.
An applicant with an Involving score of 3 may not
naturally enjoy meeting new people and could have
difficulty finding new clients through "networking."

Orderliness is the tendency to be systematic and neat
in one's personal life. An Orderliness score of 5 is
an average score for the population and suggests no
extremes. Such applicants are not likely to be highly
negligent with planning and details but also not
overly rigid and structured in their thinking and
daily activities.

The Adjustment scale measures the ability to deal
with anxiety and frustration without losing composure
or effectiveness. An applicant with an Adjustment
score of 7 will usually appear calm and well adjusted.
This person should be able to deal effectively with
stressful circumstances without becoming overly
frustrated and losing composure. |
