The PCI Score is the single best predictor of sales potential.
It is a composite of empirical predictors drawn from the
Pegasus Career Inventory. No combination of other scores
in the PCI Report can equal the sales potential prediction
of the PCI Score. A PCI Score of 15 is slightly below
average compared to the typical sales applicant.

The PCI Retention Index was developed using a sample of
life insurance sales applicants to predict whether these
newly hired sales applicants would remain in the job for
at least one year. An Index rating of "OK" means that the
PCI has not detected strong retention risk factors which
would lead this applicant to leave the sales position in
less than one year.

The PCI Score Reliability refers to the predicted accuracy
of the PCI Score. In their desire to get a job, many
applicants will distort their responses and overstate their
traits and abilities. A "Valid" PCI Score Reliability
suggests, that for this applicant, the tendency to
misrepresent or exaggerate was in an acceptable range.

The Vocational Match score measures the sale applicant's
orientation towards a career as a sales professional.
A Vocational Match score of 1 suggests that the applicant
is not well suited for a career in sales and would
probably be well advised to seek other types of work.

Trainability is a measure of general problem solving
ability. An applicant with a Trainability of 8 should be
able to see relationships, grasp new concepts, and be
able to work through problems needing to be solved. This
applicant may also have a good facility for learning new
material in general. |
